| Details | Postpartum haemorrhage (PPH) remains one of the leading causes of maternal morbidity and mortality worldwide, particularly in low-resource settings. It is defined as excessive bleeding following childbirth and can occur despite a normal pregnancy and delivery. Effective prevention, early recognition, and prompt management are essential to saving lives and improving maternal outcomes. This Continuing Medical Education (CME) session on “Postpartum Haemorrhage” aims to strengthen participants’ understanding of its causes, risk factors, and evidence-based interventions to ensure timely and effective management of this obstetric emergency. |
