Risk stratification: clinical and laboratory predictors of severity
Pharmacologic therapy: use of proton pump inhibitors, vasoactive agents in variceal bleeding, and adjunctive medications
Timing and preparation for endoscopy
Prevention of rebleeding and complications
Timely recognition and evidence-based management significantly reduce morbidity and mortality. Participants will review current guidelines and practical approaches to optimize care for patients presenting with UGIB.
